Perrin Réserve 2008, Ac Côtes Du Rhône
Rhône, France$15.95
An nice red wine blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault grapes. Light tanins, with noticeable black pepper on the palate. Medium finish. Went well with prime rib roast beef. A great value at under $15. Tasted September 10 2012.
Mumm Napa Sparkling Rosé, Napa Valley, California, Méthode Traditionnelle
California, Usa$29.95
Nice and light, with a touch of sweetness. Light pink in colour made of mostly pinot noire grapes with a touch of chardonnay. Notes of strawberries, rose petals, and cranberries on the palate. Tasted February 2012
Meditrina Red, Sokol Blosser Winery
Oregon, Usa$13.70
Very light and enjoyable blend of Syrah, Zinfandel, and Pinot Noir. Hints of apples and cotton candy on the palate. Slightly sour, but well balanced finish. A favourite in our house to keep on hand for an every day table wine. Tasted July 2011 and February 2012.
Chateau Timberlay 2008, Bordeaux Superieur

Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 2010, Marlborough
New Zealand$19.95
Pleasing Sauvignon Blanc. Well priced. We like to keep a few on hand in our cellar, as our "go to" Sauvignon Blanc.
