Vieil Armand Médaille Gewurztraminer 2010, Ac Alsace
Alsace, France$17.95
Oh My! What an outstanding gewurztraminer. A touch of sweetness is detected amongst lovely floral notes. I wish I had picked up a few more. A great bargain at $17.95. Tasted February 2013.
Château Bizard Montagne De Raucoule 2010, Ac Grignan Les Adhemar
Rhône, France$16.75
This red blend from Rohne packs a lot of punch. Very chewy with heavy tannins. Best to decant before serving. A perfect choice to pair with a hearty boeuf bourgignon. Excellent value at $21. Tasted September 2013.

Wonderfully smooth wine. Very enjoyable. I'll pick up a few bottles to add to our cellar. Tasted December 2011.
Robert Mondavi Reserve Chardonnay 2008, Napa Valley
California, Usa$45.95
Somewhat overpriced (probably because if e name on the bottle). A big oak driven California chardonnay that pretty much delivers what you would expect from this type of wine. I did find it bit hot on the finish. Tasted April 2014.

Pfalz, Germany$24.95
Very nice. A hint of effervescence. Tasted March 2013.
Montirius Le Clos Vacqueyras 2006

Well balanced with hints of smoke, leather, dark red fruits and has interesting minerality. Very dry with nice tanins.
