This wine has a LOT of tannin right out of the bottle so definitely heed Dan Trcka's advice and decant for at least 1 hour. If you do manage to wait it out, the wine is quite nice, but I can't help but think that there might be some better buys for $18.

Absolutely fantastic wine. Very distinct nose, which I can't quite pinpoint but there's certainly some blackberry and some minerality. Very long and smooth finish, but decanting makes a huge difference in this one. I tried it after 1 hour of decanting and it was much smoother than when poured directly from the bottle.
