A real surprise. Wood is up front but its all very well balanced, right down the middle (not harsh, but not flabby or tropical) with great length and good complexity. An odd cool climate white (lean but pure fruit) vinified in a somewhat warm climate style (mellow oak). It just works.

Underlying fruit is bitter and poor. Oaked to try and provide some enjoyment. Definitely needs a chill to tame the tang and fake the fruit.
