Very classical Barolo here. Focused fruit and tar with rose petal. Quite garnet in the glass, and I’m pretty sure it benefited from a half hour of decanting. Really amazing value for money. I’ll be buying more of this in subsequent vintages.

A very impressive chardonnay, with complexity, freshness and depth. I would confidently put it up against any similarly-priced Burgundy or California chard.

This could use a little more aging, maybe for drinking in 2023 and beyond, to reduce the phenolic quality, but it's a notably well made wine. There's plenty of fruit on offer, and a salinity that matches well with the varietal's herbal notes and makes for a quite refreshing drink.
