Mission Estate Chardonnay 2008, Hawkes Bay, North Island
New Zealand$14.80
Light, even aromas of caramel, lees, baked apples and hints of minerality. Not an overly intense wine, but well balanced and nuanced. Great value. Excellent example of New Zealand Chardonnay.
Château La Fleur Terrien 2008, Ac Lussac Saint émilion
Bordeaux, France$15.00
Great ruby colour. Medium intensity. Aromas of cherry, earth with a touch of savoury herbs. Enjoyable mouthfeel. Medium mild firm tannins. Bright acidity. Medium + length.
I feel like this wine is going to evolve in my glass. Worth decanting or waiting.
