Yalumba The Y Series Viognier 2015
South Australia, Australia$14.95
Excellent viognier from south Australia
, Yalumba's expression of this northern Rhone white variety is astounding for the 15$ price tag. Highly recommended!
Domaine René Bouvier Bourgogne Pinot Noir Le Chapitre Suivant 2014
Burgundy, France$24.40
Good Pinot noir, great balance of acidity, tannins, and alcohol. Great aromas of red fruit and earthy natural notes. Worth decanting for at least 1 hour opens up nicely. Best pinot under 25$ from burgundy by far, recommended.
William Fèvre Champs Royaux Chablis 2015, Ac
Burgundy, France$28.95
This is a refined and charming standard grade chablis. Quite closed on the aromatics front, but crisp, precise and mouthwatering on the palate. Notes of ripe pair, yellow apple, and brioche are present. The wine has good length with a somewhat long finish. Not the most complex but thoroughly enjoyable. Should gain in complexity over the next five years.

The Wolftrap Syrah Mourvedre Viognier 2016, Western Cape
Western Cape, South Africa$14.95
OK red wine from south Africa's western cape, a take on a southern Rhone blend. Notes of spice, deep red fruit mixed with smoke and wood are apparent both in aroma and on the palate. recommendable for the price, good with red meats and hamburgers.
Chapoutier Marius 2016, Languedoc
Languedoc, France$13.95
Great little red from chapoutier, better then the 2016 Bila haut but less complex then the great 2015. Very easy drinking with good length.
Château Haut Grelot 2016, Blaye Cotes De Bordeaux
Bordeaux, France$20.48
For the price a wonderful white Bordeaux. Mostly Sauvignon Blanc completed by 10% Sémillion. Mineral on the palate and aromatically opened with a good length of finish, a but more complexity and it would have been over 90 points.
Segura Viudas Brut Reserva Cava
Spain$15.95
Decent Cava not the most memorable but affordable and enjoyable would not pay over 15$ though.
The Wolftrap Syrah Mourvedre Viognier 2015, Western Cape
Western Cape, South Africa$14.95
2016 vintage:nice red wine from south Africa's western cape, a take on a southern Rhone blend. Notes of spice, deep red fruit mixed with smoke and wood are apparent both in aroma and on the palate. Highly recommendable for the price. A year or 2 of additional bottle age would help elevate this wine further. Great introductory wine to South Africa's potential for delicious and complex vino. Good with red meats and hamburgers.
Château Du Grand Caumont Cuvée Tradition Corbières 2014
Languedoc, France$13.95
Good Corbière for under 13$ a great deal. On the nose notes of garigue, herbs, leather, and ripe black fruits are present. The palate is decently complex with an average length of finish. Over all an easy drinking red, great for bbq and burgers. Drink 2017-2020
