This mature Rioja shows deep colour and a soft but ripe and complex nose of prune, dried cherry, licorice, cigar,...
Pretty well put together. Still shows lots of fruit, starting to gain those cigar and mushroom notes. Tannins still...
A rioja reserva that displays tertiary notes (dead leaves, humus also tobacco) although the cherry aromas are there,...

This blend of 85% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha and 5% Graciano is highly aromatic with savoury notes of umami, earth, blackberry, dried cherry and some floral aromas. It's full-bodied with refined tannins and many of the aromas coming through on the palate. Acids are well-balanced, while the finish is long and earthy. Tasted Sept/2016.
