The 2012 Wente Morning Fog Chardonnay has intense aromas of limestone minerality, lees, lemon, pineapple and tangerine. It is a medium bodied, dry, fruity wine; a bit disconnected with checked acidity and a medium, creamy finish. This is a food wine, but will please on-its-own; drink now – 2017+. My impression: NICE, 88 pts. Tasted Mar/14
