Subtle aromas of smoke, almost like burning embers, wax, violet, dried herbs, red plum, blackberry, & after 60 min, fig.
Flavours of plum, ripe cherry, salt, cedar, and a long menthol finish. Soft tannins with medium+ acidity. Solid QPR. - September 16 2024
Fully mature right banker here, with good fruit, now fading into the dried fruit spectrum, fairly high acidity and soft silky tannin. Good balance, wood is but a minor feature. Solid, well made and enjoyable. For near(er) term enjoyment. Tasted Oct 2024.
