This blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon has a fresh, medium-high to highly aromatic nose that is savoury with mineral, red berry, cherry, and raspberry aromas, plus hints of spice. On the dry, medium+ to medium-full bodied palate it has well-structured, plush, and elegant tannins which are supported by juicy acidity. Lovely, attractive flavours of cherry, savoury earth, and mineral replays are joined by dried herbs and spices. Touch grippy with good structure on the long, tasty finish. Tasted May 2025.
