A blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Canaiolo, this has a medium to medium-high intensity nose that seems a bit shy at the moment, but offers notions of clove, earthy, barnyard, and dark red cherry aromas. It's full-bodied and structured with very nice aroma replays on the flavoursome palate, along with fresh, balanced acidity. Fine tannins are smooth and structured. Nicely balanced flavours linger through to the long, structured, and very satisfying finish. Tasted May 2023. Score: 91+ pts
