2017 Barolo from a modern-style producer but still can age even though the vintage is not strong.

Aromas of thyme, cherry, perfume, bacon fat, anise, and barnyard. Everything follows through on the tongue except the barnyard but a hint of menthol, and oak shows up. Medium acidity with medium dry tannins which a little risotto can't tame.
