Erroneously identified as 70% Grenache, 30% Syrah on lbco.com (it is actually 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre), this is well-made CdR with no oak (all tank-aged). The relatively higher % of Syrah certainly comes through with the leaner blackberry fruit. Nice herbal accents with moderate complexity, but finishing just a bit thin, Solid, enjoyable, if not truly exciting. Fairly priced Tasted Feb 2021.
