A nice, medium to light-bodied Barolo with fruity and berry tastes. Refreshing and not heavy and goes well with steaks and smoked meat. Very pleasant to drink. Has a nice long finish that lingers in your mouth. Love it.

Château Peyros Madiran 2005, Ac
Southwest, France
$15.95

A nice blend of 60% Tannat and 40% Cabernet Franc from the southernmost part of France. Tastes of ripe fruits and wood and has exception quality. Excellent value for 2005 vintage. Enjoyable and easy to drink. I will buy it again and again.
Air it for an hour or so before drinking and you will like it more.

Freemark Abbey Cabernet Sauvignon 2002, Napa Valley Bottle
Freemark Abbey Cabernet Sauvignon 2002, Napa Valley
California, Usa
$0.00

This is a nice 8 to 9 years old Cabernet Sayuignon from Napa Velley. Well balanced, with some acidity. Be sure to decant it for a few hours before drinking and you will like it better. Goes well with beef and BBQ park. I am expecting a bit more from a 2002 vintage cabernet sauvignon.

Christian Moueix Merlot 2005, Bordeaux Bottle
Christian Moueix Merlot 2005, Bordeaux
Bordeaux, France
$15.95

I am rather disappointed with this merlot from Bordeaux. i expected a finer wine but all I got was an uninspiring, mild-tasting, average red wine. I would not buy it again, despite the relatively low price, $14.95. For the same price, I could find better tasting wines.

Rocca Delle Macie Chianti Classico 2007, Chianti Bottle
Rocca Delle Macie Chianti Classico 2007, Chianti
Tuscany, Italy
$18.95

I was fooled by the name Tuscany on the wine bottle. I thought one would not go wrong with a 2007 Chianti Classico from the world famous Tuscany of Italy and I bought this wine without hesitation. I was wrong. I don;t like it. There is some strange sour taste in this wine that i don;t know how to describe it. It could be tannin.
I would not buy it again. 2007 is supposed to be a good year but not for this wine. There is no depth, just a strange sour taste.

Hoya De Cadenas Reserva 2005

Nice, smooth, mellow tempranillo with a bit of grenache. Fruity with some taste of cedar. Recommend keeping it opened and aired for a while as it will improve.
Good price/performance ratio.
