Maison Champy Signature Pinot Noir Bourgogne 2006, Ac Bottle
Maison Champy Signature Pinot Noir Bourgogne 2006, Ac
Burgundy, France
$23.95

A refreshing, medium-bodied pinot noir from Burgandy. Nicely priced for 2006 vintage. Fruity with taste of berries, oak and a bit of smoky taste with light tannins. A very enjoyable wine, suitable to go with BBQ pork or duck.

Viña Alicia Paso De Piedra Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Luján De Cuyo, Mendoza Bottle
Viña Alicia Paso De Piedra Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Luján De Cuyo, Mendoza
Mendoza, Argentina
$14.75

This is a 2008 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendoza, Argentina that has a hint of spices but rather strong acidity. A bit disappointing for a 2008 vintage. I really don't understand how Jay Miller came up with a score of 90.
