Wild Olive Old Vines Chenin Blanc 2011

Thick heavy body but other than a faint hint of greenish tree fruit this was pretty darn bland as they come.

Was hoping maybe winemaker Ian Nieuwoudt was working for The Grape Grinder after being fired from KWV because this could have used a little manipulation like added flavourants.

Trapiche Astica Sauvignon/Semillon 2011, Cuyo

A nice drink for such a low price!

Ended up trying this one by myself when everyone left dinner early due to me becoming upset when they failed to abide by Parisian Le Dîner etiquette.

Astica means 'flower' in the indigenous Huarpe language - so you might want to remove the label or else the bottle return depot guys will joke about you during their lunch break
