Very well-integrated nose and palate on this wine. Nose is still developing, features ripe red currants, black currants and blackberries, violets, flinty minerality, and lots of cocoa, vanillin, smoke and toast. Tannins are fairly smooth and acidity is medium; the minerality is quite pronounced on the palate. I think this wine will probably show more smoky and deep floral notes over the next 5 or so years. Good value now; will probably be exceptional then.

Nice fruity notes on the nose, especially strawberry. Decent complexity, not overly tannic, the acidity is nice and refreshing without being too much. Medium length. Slightly sweet. Fantastic value at this price point.

The apple and acidity are prominent in this wine. I have doubts that it will age particularly well, but it paired perfectly with braised chicken breast in a white wine pan reduction. Great value wine at its price.
