Marchesi Di Barolo Barbaresco 2017, Docg
Piedmont, Italy$38.95
From one of Piedmont's most venerable and respected producers, this wine offers fantastic value for Barbaresco. It's forged in cement tanks and aged one year in Slavonian and French oak barrels. Though it can be enjoyed now with game or meat stews, it's also a great choice for the cellar and should continue to evolve through 2035.
Wynns Coonawarra Estate The Siding Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Coonawarra
South Australia, Australia$19.25
Torbreck Cuvée Juveniles 2022, Barossa Valley
South Australia, Australia$29.95
This is an excellent GSM Blend with all the generosity of the genre, yet a bit more compactness and complexity. Expect lifted strawberry-red cherry pie fruit with, fresh herbs, cola, cinnamon and wood spice. It is medium-full bodied, warm and spicy with some drying tannin. The length is excellent. Textbook Barossa gravitas! Tasted November 2025
