Marqués De Murrieta Finca Ygay Reserva 2013, Doca Rioja
Rioja, Spain$34.95
Everything a Rioja Reserva should be. Gracias Marqués!
Tenuta Marsiliana Birillo Rosso 2014, Costa Toscana Igt
Tuscany, Italy$31.78
I'd say Cab Sauvignon is the dominant grape in this blend, but am not sure. What I can safely say though, is that this is a succulent wine. Dark fruit prevails over hints of red, some oak presence, a warmth from the Tuscan sun (?) and a lovely finish.
Matetic Corralillo Syrah 2011, San Antonio Valley
San Antonio Valley, Chile$23.95
Outstanding Syrah. Suggest decanting. Enjoy!
Clos Du Soleil Signature Red 2013, British Columbia

Château Rahoul 2010, Ac Graves
Bordeaux, France$29.95
2010 was a great year... almost any wine is a safe bet. This one sure is!
Descendientes De J. Palacios Pétalos 2010, Do Bierzo
Galicia, Spain$25.00
An extraordinary example of mencia do Bierzo at its best.
Cave De Roquebrun La Grange Des Combes Saint Chinian Roquebrun 2010, Ac
Languedoc, France$18.95
Floral and dark fruity greetings are the preamble to this easy to sip GSM blend. I paired it with a juicy burger with roasted red peepers, asparagus, brie cheese and Dijon mustard... LOVELY!
Alvaro Palacios Les Terrasses 2013, Doca Priorat
Priorat, Spain$39.75
Turns out that the third Friday of September is International Day of Grenache, so, to celebrate I chose to open this bottle given that this wonderful and versatile grape is prevalent in Priorat. Although this was a blend (with Carignan most likely) it proved to be a great choice.
