Wonderful Cab - flavourful but not overpowering, well structured. Agree it's not dis-similar to a Barolo in some regards, but didn't get the oak that :Lawrason did. More in line iwth the tastings.com review than the Lawrason

Gargantuan nuclear warhead of a new world cab. All fruit and oak all up in your face - like drinking wine concentrate. Complex and flavorful, it really evolved away from the oak after some time in my mouth. It's nice, it's just a classically new-world bomb cab.

IMO, a sipping wine not a food wine because food will just get overwhelmed by the wine.

Real good as far as that goes, but know what you're getting.

Tried at the winery and enjoyed, but haven't opened my own bottles yet - you'll have to trust Parker for now.

Opened a bottle last night (October 2011) and this wine is doing very very well. Truly outstanding - deep, rich, complex. A beautiful wine. Open today without fear as it is fantastic.

I found this one extremely simple, light but lacking any complexity. At $12 would be a reasonable deal but at $17 you should expect more.

I taste a lot of chocolate. Not too much fruit nor too much wood, which was a pleasant surprise.

A bit tight now, better in a year

Totally outstanding value - very nice, long, rich classic Bordeaux from an under-rated vintage. Highly recommended and under-rated by a lot of reviewers in my opinion
