(90?) - July 2010- outstanding value.
This is a great example of a QPR wine. On the nose, caremelized oak, wet leaves. On the palate it's a nice medium-full body wine with dry berries notes, balanced acidity and a beautiful finish. Buy a case.

(85?)-July 2010-A good value Cab Sauv. but I had better ones from Argenina for less than $20.
I found the wine to be too simple i.e. there are many new world cab sauv like this one out there - not enough on the nose, not enough depth and only a medium finish (sorry, can't agree on this one with Mr. Miller).

(88+?) - Aug2010 - very surprisingly good. I've tried Tannat mainly from Uruguay (who adopted this grape similar to Argentina adopting the Malbec) and it was always no more than good.
This wine is very good. It needs time to open up (it had some initial alcohol extracts). After 30-45 min - on the nose, blackberry and plums. On the palate, plums, dry figs, cherries and hints of leather. Very good finish. Food friendly wine. Goes extremely good with rib eye steak.

88-90? June2011- great value. On the nose mushrooms, oak and earth. On the palate medium+ body, well balanced, earthy, berries, dusty tannins (needs time), beautiful finish. A traditional mixed with a new-world touch Rioja. LOVE IT!

(89?) - June 2010. So far the wines from the 2006 vintage in Tuscany have lived to their expectations. This is a lovely Chianti for $20. Very red in flavors (as oppose to some wines that I find more black in flavors).
you get red currant, red cherries, strawberries hints of spices and caramel on the finish. Very well integrated oak. Ready to drink.

90?-Sep2010-if you're into "jammy-in-your-face-dark-berries" wine, this is the wine for you.
So much concentration in flavors. Full body, with blackberries, cassis, dark chocolate, vanilla and smooth long peppery finish.
What a treat for $15!

90?-Apr 2011-old world meets new world. Beautiful Cab Sauv. Silky with generous amount of berries. Very balanced-everything is in it's place there. Excellent QPR. Competitive to other Cab at this price range. I hope this wine will open the LCBO doors to Tulip's Reserve series. Their Syrah Reserve is outstanding!
