I Sodi Chianti Classico 2011, Docg
Tuscany, Italy$14.75
Aug 2020....pretty sure there are none of these left. What I recall....great price point, a pleasant mid week Chianti that would go with anything, fairly mild, had bought several but grew tired of it quickly.
Antichi Vinai Il Mascalese Nerello Mascalese 2013, Igt Terre Siciliane
Sicily, Italy$13.75
now 2020
Catena Malbec High Mountain Vines 2014

2018/19
June 2021....was just ok, nothing special, lacked life, sorta flat (left too long maybe?), was happy to see the end of the bottle.
Viticcio Bere 2013, Igt Toscana
Tuscany, Italy$17.25
might not have been wild boar ragu instead beef ragu, regardless with 20 minutes air time was mild, smooth & tasty though not special....good deal for the money but won't rebuy
Villa Annaberta Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore 2014
Veneto, Italy$18.30
Aug 2020....cant recall a thing about this, not even sure why I bought it unless it was given to me. Maybe experimenting with Ripasso since I do enjoy a good one. Will remove from inventory.

2020/21/22*
Feb 2021....pretty solid wine for the money. A pleasant combo of fruit and minerality A bit too stony perhaps but for the price great value! No regrets. Best with food. Fair amount of sediment so maybe drink sooner than later.
June 2022...ditto, my feelings are identical to the above, except maybe less stony now.
Lealtanza Reserva 2012, Doca Rioja
Rioja, Spain$22.95

pretty confusing reviews....originally bought this based on this review below by MG but now replaced by a new and awful review......."...in 2016 the weather was about as ideal as it gets and this PBEV pinot noir gained exaggerated benefit from all these things and more. Their '16 pinot noir is silky, smooth, sweetly savoury and tannic if softly steeped so, like a rosehip tisane. Needed some time to get here but now is the time. Drink 2019-2022." 92 points --Michael Godel, winealign.com, March 2019.

March 2022....gift to Janice for appointment missed due to COVID exposure (really meant to give her a Spanish one with nearly the same name, hope she liked it)
Sept 2022....with pizza, went well. Full, dark berries, a little soft but all in all for $19 pretty good however not a repeat purchase.
