grippy tannins but not drying for sure, earthy, cherry fruit, somewhat rioja-like but distinctively different, really long-lasting finish, nice overall and outstanding for the price! Szabo is right on in his rating

Rustic must be another word for puckering!! Definitely needs some serious salty protein to cut the tannins and sourness as per Szabo. It definitely lingers on the palate. I debated giving it a 90 but the sharpness and continued sourness left me with a 89. Still nice wine overall and a wonderful wine for the price!!

a big bold cab from walla walla Washington, earthy, firm tannins for sure, reminds me a bit of the piedmont gang but not as dusty or as sour cherish, a bit fruity but not fruit bomb, great buy for $22, will be interesting to see how it ages over the next few years, szabo seems to feel that it will do well!
