Results from the 2026 Nationals – Top 10 Small Wineries
Top 10 Small Wineries
Note: The WineAlign National Winery of the Year Award and the Best Performing Small Winery of the Year are the two most prestigious honours presented by the National Wine Awards of Canada. To qualify for the annual Top 25 Wineries in Canada, a producer must enter at least five wines. Rankings are determined by each winery’s top five scoring entries, in combination with the weighted value of their medals. The medal’s weighted value reflects its relative scarcity across the competition; the fewer medals awarded overall, the greater each medal’s value in the final calculation. For the Best Performing Small Winery of the Year, eligibility is limited to producers with annual production of 10,000 cases or fewer, measured in 12 × 750 mL bottles. In 2026, Icewine, Library Wines, Replacement Wines and Crafted in B.C. entries were not included in the Winery of the Year calculations.
