Jerez Masterclass with MS Elyse Lambert and John Szabo
Monday, April 12 (6:30 – 8:30pm) Explore the massive variety of wines from the Spanish region of Jerez in this master class with Master Sommeliers Élyse Lambert and John Szabo. Learn about the unique style of wine making in Jerez to understand how the endless varieties of Sherry are made. Running a full spectrum from crisp and refreshing to thick and sweet, the wines from the Sherry Triangle are truly like no others in the world. Learn about the grape growing, wine making, fortification, and aging that makes Jerez such an incredibly diverse and delicious wine region. Gain a new understanding of these celebrated sherries. Participants will have the option to join in on an expert-guided tasting of wines that can be purchased separately for delivery or pick-up through our partners. No wine purchase is necessary — you can join the masterclass and explore Sherry with or without your glass. The Masterclass is structured so that wines will enhance the workshop, but they are not required. If you like, you can choose one wine of the three to enjoy. Or two! Wine purchases and delivery costs are not included in your registration fee. If you would like to order any or all of the wines, they can be pre-ordered for pick-up or home delivery.
