Alazani River parts Georgia and Azerbaijan in Eastern Georgia (Black Sea region). The Valley enjoys warmer climate and rich in minerals alluvial soils. Grapes reach higher sweetness than elsewhere in Georgia, so most popular semi dry wines are crafted here.
Vineyards are located in Eastern Georgia, Internal Kakheti, Kvareli administrative district in the South Caucasus. Vineyards are mainly located at the sea level from 400-500 m altitude borders, and river. Carbonate soils rich in the river brought blue slate. Climate is moderate warm with plenty of precipitation.
