It's only wine but I like it
Not really sure why Tripache has two unoaked Malbecs on the shelves at the LCBO, Pure and Pure Black. Anyway, this is a nicely made juicy and ripe Malbec, which thankfully does not rely on residual sweetness for appear. Good balance and decent complexity for the price, though not particularly long finishing. Reasonable value at $15.95, but a super value at $12.95 for a few more days. Tasted March 2017.
