This nicely aromatic, medium to full bodied wine has integrated notes of pine, violets, vanilla and black cherry. At opening the bouquet consists of violets and vanilla only to be replaced by strong pine notes, which are quite overwhelming at this time, but should tone down in a few years or so. After about an hour of opening, the pine notes tone down and black cherry and other dark fruit reveals itself. The tannins are subtle to refined (can be drunk shortly after opening) and the finish is long. This wine will be at its best around 2013-14 and should age well till 2020. My impression: BEAUTIFUL. Tasted Mar/10.
