It's only wine but I like it
It's only wine but I like it

Hecht & Bannier clearly strive to create wines that reflect the terroir from which the grapes are sourced. No resorting to heavy oak or super ripening. That is the case here. This syrah-led red blend from Minervois has perfectly ripened fruit, black pepper, dried meats and wild herbs. Fine stuff for about $17 on sale, this put many more expensive wines to shame. Tasted Feb 2018.
