The 2009 vintage is soft fruity mature midweight red that is drinking well. Expect aromas of dry cherry and plum...
No flaws, but nothing transcendent. An expressive nose, a mouth, but all in all linear, with sweet, very ripe...

Medium ruby in colour, with a clean nose of medium intensity offering dark red berries, ceda, vanilla, spices and clove.
On the palate, dry and medium weight with well-integrated acid & alcohol. Herbaceous notes, with dark cherry, baking spices, cassis, tobacco.
Good length on the finish with tannins and spice lingering.
Much more to this wine than would be suggested by the price. Tasted October 2016.

A nicely aged reserva at a good price
Description: Medium ruby in colour with a medium to medium+ intense nose. This wine features sandalwood, plum, cherry, blackberry, thyme, pumpkin spice, espresso, tobacco leaves and leather. Medium body with dusty tannins, good acidity and a fairly long length.
Negatives: Slightly watery
Interesting Note: Like the fact that it’s only 13% alcohol. This wine presents better in the Tempranillo style glassware vs the larger Cab glassware
Drink now or in the next 3 years on its own or pair it with Spicy Chorizo Paella.
