This Super-Tuscan style blend is a mix of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, syrah, and sangiovese (40/20/20/20). It shows a nice balance of ripe red and black cherry and berry fruits, some light coconut/vanilla/toast and cocoa from short-term oak ageing, and distinct Tuscan savouriness of sage, olive, leather, and cedar. There is a touch of pepper spice and warming alcohol on the palate. The acidity is just a bit above medium and the tannins are quite soft and integrated. The finish has very good length. This wine would work nicely with hearty pastas or a variety of salty meat dishes.
