A solid mouthful of wine for the price! Blueberry pie filling, ripe blackberry, eucalyptus, violet, cocoa, anise, cigar box, and a touch of burnt sugar on the nose. The dark fruit is fresh on the palate, with some cedar and black pepper coming through. Almost full-bodied, with medium-high acidity and tannins. Good length finish with black fruit, cocoa, and black pepper. A great choice to pair with ribs.
