Good German Riesling. I really like the tension between the acidity and sweetness. Showed substantial petrol/kerosene character right after pouring, which (mostly) blew off after a few minutes. Lime, peach/apricot, underripe pineapple, honeysuckle, and some really nice slatey minerality on the nose. Candied lime, peach, apricot, tangerine, honey, white flowers, red apple, and more slate on the palate. Mouth-watering acids keep the wine from seeming any sweeter than off-dry. Was hoping for a little more complexity and a longer finish, but this wine certainly delivers for the price point.
