This is such an amazing price (probably the best value Italian red at the LCBO) for such a well balanced structured...
An impressively priced bombshell of a Montepulciano. Balanced with flavours of prune, plum, and sweet and sour...

This wine was fine for $7.60 but was a bit too barnyard / leather for me.
Plums, blackberries, and herbs on the nose. Good amount of fruit but pretty tannic. Good value for money though.
good value - don't let anyone look at the bottle though - tasted april 2011
2007 vintage. Aromas of black cherry, fig, pepper and earth. Ripe, dark fruits on the palate with juicy, ripe tannins. Light bodied red wine. Very good for a house wine at a restaurant. Tasted Feb/2012.

This was disappointing; almost sour. Very average. Did i get a rogue bottle?
