Here's a big, dense, flavour drenched cabernet. Very typical of Rodney Strong it is strong on the oak, but it is well...
A smoky, earthy and masculine cabernet. Dry with notes of tobacco, leather and black cherry. Just shy of contemporary...
A sweet, jammy, 15% alcohol monster, all up front, with little substance on the back end, except for the charred wood...

The 2010 Rodney Strong Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from Alexander Valley in Sonoma County, has rich aromas of eucalyptus, wood, black currant, blackberry, black cherry and vanilla. It is a medium to full bodied, extra-dry, fruity to integrated wine; with crisp acidity, dusty tannins and a tongue coating, medium to long finish. This is a food friendly and sipping wine; drink now to 2020+. My impression: NICE, 89 pts. Tasted in Apr/14 at 'California Wine Fair' http://grapeselections.com/grapeselections/wine-reviews/.
