It's only wine but I like it
Medium bodied left bank from a solid vintage. Shows superb balance of fruit and oak, with a silky but firm long finish. Still quite vibrant at 17 years of age, I should think that this wine still have several years ahead of it. I recall purchasing this at $67 through the Bordeaux futures. Not a bad price by Bordeaux standards for Grand Cru red, but one can get wines of similar quality for less in other regions. Drink now or hold through 2030 or so. Tasted Sep 2025.
