full body, large nose, buttery texture
The second bottle of this was MUCH better than the first.
I get the feeling there is a high degree of bottle variation going on.
The first I described as flabby and pruney and not very good at all. It's rare that i find a wine undrinkable..but that was it. Could my palate have been tainted? perhaps.
Months later..
The second however was medium-light bodied, full of sour cherry, strawberry and raspberry flavours and soft mild tannins. Reminded me of a Barbera only with less acidic spark. Super easy to drink, quite refreshing chilled.
Curious about the 3rd bottle...
