Fortius Crianza 2008, Do Navarra
Critic Reviews (2)
This is a tempranillo cabernet blend aged 18 months in oak. It has a quite mature, meaty and savoury nose with red...
Edgy, bright, wild and flavourful, this maturing Crianza is playful and food friendly. A good buy for the price...

The 2008 Fortius Crianza, composed of undisclosed amounts of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon aged in American Oak for 12 months; has appealing aromas of lees, red currant and pomegranate. It is medium bodied, fruity to integrated; is a bit on the acidic side, has subtle to refined tannins (decant for 15 min) and a medium finish. Drink with food; good now to 2015. My impression: NOTHING SPECIAL to NICE, 87-88 pts. Tasted Jan/13.
