Medium ruby colour with a hint of garnet. Sour cherry, bramble and wild raspberry aromas accented by woodsmoke. Medium bodied, fleshy and concentrated Pinot that retains its elegance. Delicious, subtly smoky finish. Pair with seared tuna steaks, or venison chops in a red wine sauce. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2012)Critic Reviews (3)

Nice red fruit on the nose and palate with a nice touch of spices. Good length. Tasted July 2013.
Fine pinot character here, with flavours of beetroot, cranberry and smoke. Oak is nicely judged and the finish lingers, with a hint of tartness. Very nicely made, and a steal at a mismarked price of $14.95 (instead of $18.95) in the lastest Vintage Bin End Sale. Nice to get that kick back from the government (they'll get me a tax time!). Tasted March 2014.
