This one is another extremely enjoyable wine from this producer, but it's not a stunner. There's lots of ripe apple and pear notes on the nose, along with some citrus and smoky, spicy notes. On the palate, it's medium bodied with lovely acidity and good minerality and a medium length finish. While the complexity isn't great, it's an excellent value, particularly for lovers of Burgundian Chardonnay. Grab a couple if you can. Tasted August 2013.
