Tasting Note: In keeping with classic Bordeaux tradition, Pétales d’Osoyoos represents the second wine of Osoyoos Larose. The wine displays a deep ruby colour with a complex nose of red fruits, peper, caramel and vanilla notes. The mid-palate shows a complex layers with raspberry, cherry and toasted flavours. The finish is long and smooth with ripe tannins and of elegance and finesse.

This is a quite full bodied, energetic red but it has very hard edges and quite green sinewy tannin. The aromas are...

I enjoyed this, although the 2007 seemed a little more polished (tried it once). The '09 may improve a bit in a year or two as well, or decant well and enjoy now. Respectfully disagree with the pros on this one. 89-90

Just needed some air time to fully come around, probably had a few more years left in it but it was quite delicious.

Very, very disapointing. The bouquet is ripe with complexity. Earth, casis and tobacco. Unfortunately, the palate is flat and lifeless and overly tannic.

Tasted March 2012.
