Tasting Note: In keeping with classic Bordeaux tradition, Pétales d’Osoyoos represents the second wine of Osoyoos Larose. The wine displays a deep ruby colour with a complex nose of red fruits, peper, caramel and vanilla notes. The mid-palate shows a complex layers with raspberry, cherry and toasted flavours. I enjoyed this, although the 2007 seemed a little more polished (tried it once). The '09 may improve a bit in a year or two as well, or decant well and enjoy now. Respectfully disagree with the pros on this one. 89-90

Tasted March 2012.
