A highly pleasurable and modern Syrah not unlike the wines of the Pays d'Oc. Peppery with a touch of saddle leather...
Slightly raisined, floral, baby-powder-scented, with cassis syrup and prune flavours. The palate is markedly bitter,...

A little bottled sunshine from the south of France that's all warm, smoky and inviting. An initial whiff of Christmas cake is accompanied by lots of dark berry fruit, some black liquorice, and tobacco. All that fruit goes on and on in your mouth with a tinge of bitter chocolate.

An enjoyable modern style syrah. Medium-full bodied, it delivers up lots of dark fruit, bacon, and black pepper with a nice long finish. Not very complex, but it's pleasant. Tasted February 2012
