Deep ruby coloured (mostly) Syrah with aromas of blackberry, white pepper, hickory smoke, dried black olive, tobacco and game. Dry with very good aroma replays on the palate. Moderate tannins and fresh acidity give it terrific balance. It is very tasty now (with grilled game bird or lamb chops), or cellar for 5+ years. (VINTAGES panel, Aug. 2011)Critic Reviews (3)

A lovely Syrah for the money. This is a delicious example of how Northern Rhone Syrahs can be. Dry with this great olive aroma. This is a very tasty wine and will probably please everyone at the table. Yum!
