A great Pinot. The 2007 vintage condiitions made this wine a bit heavier than a traditional PInot Noir
Aroma seemed juvenile yet expressive with notes of cardamom and earth. Speaking with one of the wine masters during my tour, this 2007, as well as the 2004 vintage; can be laid down for as long as 10 years to enhance and mellow the still-young structure.
Lets hope that in a decade, the wine i toasted my 7th anniversary with is as refined and lovely as my 14th.
Sampled 12-Mar-2011 at the vineyard.
