Seriousness in pinot noir, so many of its parts crunchy, from fruit through tannin, making for a truly finished wine....
This maturing pinot from the high country of northern Italy is showing ruby garnet colour. The nose is quite lifted...
Zemmer's 2022 Pinot reserve is quite a hefty and concentrated, smoky and oak-influenced example with firm, rugged...
This is a ripe and rounded, even warm pinot noir - though it is still balanced. It feels full, with rounded acidity...

Fresh, medium-high intensity has lovely black raspberry, dark red cherry, and strawberry aromas mingling with oak spices and earthy undertones. It's dry on the medium+ bodied palate with a chewy mouthfeel and lovely, well-balanced aroma replays joined by tea leaf and spice touches adding intrigue and complexity to the flavour profile. Tangy acidity along with smooth, fine-grained tannins carry through to the long, tangy, and crisp finish. Tasted Oct. 2025. Score: 91+ pts
