The lovely, medium-high to highly aromatic nose is fresh with dark berry, black cherry, and black tea leaf aromas layered over smoky, reductive, and underbrush. It's medium-full bodied and dry with lovely dark berry, black cherry, and tea leaf replays joined by gentle oak spice notes. It has a chewy mouthfeel (in the Pinot context) with elegant tannins that are smooth and refined. The juicy acidity carries through to the long, balanced, and earthy finish. Tasted Oct. 2024.
