This Nerello Mascalese has a medium to medium-high intensity nose that is fresh and brimming with volcanic minerality and savoury earth aromas alongside red cherry, sweet spice, and blackberry, plus hints of exotic spices. The chewy, medium-full bodied palate is smooth textured with well-structure tannins supporting the savoury herbal notes alongside the delicious aroma replays. Dry, with very good, well-balanced acidity. Herbally with red cherry and spice notes linger on the long-lasting finish. Tasted Oct. 2025.
