The fresh, medium-high to highly aromatic nose is smoky, flinty, and a touch reductive, followed by lemon citrus, baked apple, and orchard fruit aromas. On the dry, medium-full to full bodied palate it has lovely, balanced flavours of lemon citrus, apple, pear, vanilla, butter, and flinty minerals on a nicely textured frame. Acids are fresh and well-balanced. More smoky, flinty, and leesy mineral notes linger on the long, juicy finish. Tasted May 2025. Score: 92+ pts
