Mainly Sangiovese (79%), this has a fresh, medium-high to highly aromatic nose that is slightly reductive and reveals ripe black & red fruits, blackberry, cassis, currant, oak spice, and cocoa aromas with accents of grilled pepper. On the rich, dry, and medium-full bodied palate it has lovely, well-balanced aroma replays that echo on the flavour profile and joined by hints of sweet tobacco. It's supported by very good, juicy acidity and elegant, well-structured tannins. The finish is long and persistent with savoury cocoa and earth notes. Tasted Oct. 2024.
